Paula White Porcelain Painting Seminar

5 years has intervened since Paula White came to Taiwan to teach us in 2013.

I painted several works used Paula's painting techniques that I learnt with her and displayed these works in my solo exhibition in 2014.

Paula will come to Taiwan again on Oct 19, I have the fabulous opportunity to learn many new things from her class.  I can't wait to see Paula.

台灣特有種鳥類~竹鳥(棕噪眉)

從北大武山新登山口起登沒多久，樹林中有很多鳥，體型不小，近看是竹鳥與白喉笑鶇，林中陰暗難拍，看了一陣子後繼續往當晚安身之處前進。

有藍眼影的竹鳥，身長約27~28公分，翼長約11~12公分，屬於大型畫眉鳥。全身大致為栗褐色，尾下覆羽為白色，腹部灰紫色，嘴基淡藍色，尖端黃色，最為醒目的特徵則是眼睛周圍裸出的藍色眼圈，相當惹人注目。

竹鳥主要棲息於中低海拔約500~2400山區的闊葉林，羞怯畏人不善飛行，多成3~10隻小群跳躍出沒於雜草、藤蔓濃密叢生之處。好鳴唱，其聲為圓潤悠揚而多變化的哨音，偶爾也會模仿其他鳥種叫聲。主要以昆蟲、種子為食，也喜食植物嫩芽與果實。
